About

About Us

The Graduate School of Advanced Training in Metabolomics is a project of the Val Sambro Laboratory, dedicated to the specialised training of health professionals. Founded in 1978 in San Benedetto Val di Sambro, the Laboratory has become a nationwide reference molecular diagnostics centre, thanks to the leadership of Dr Carla Marzetti and the use of state-of-the-art technology.

The school was created to share these skills, offering highly specialised training and contributing to the growth of health professionals in the field of metabolomics and health.

The School

Training in Metabolomics

Metabolomics studies the metabolites produced in biological processes. Through metabolome analysis, a global view of cellular activities is obtained, which is essential for accurate diagnoses and customised therapies.

Lecturers

Our Lecturers

The teaching staff of our school consists of leading professionals in the field of metabolomics.

Thanks to their experience, participants in our courses have the opportunity to learn from lecturers who are actively working in the field of research and clinical application.
